1.
What do you mean by overselling? [Top]
Overselling is a term used in the hosting business to indicate that although you only have a certain amount of bandwidth or webspace allocated, you can sell more to your customers just as long as they don't consume your entire lot that was allocated to you. SpeedPacket.com does not allow overselling, because in our experience, this leads to resellers putting too many customers on the servers, which then leads to far lower performance of the server.

2.
I want a smaller reseller plan! Is that possible? [Top]
Unfortunately, we only offer the reseller plans that are listed on our site. If you are looking for smaller reseller accounts, you may be interested in our affiliate program though.

3.
I want a larger reseller plan! Is that possible? [Top]
Unfortunately, we can't offer any larger reseller plans. However, we have some very nice dedicated server solutions that might just be the deal for you!

4.
What is a user, and why is it limited? [Top]
With the term user we define an end-user on a particular domain you are hosting on our servers. For instance, every email address is linked to one specific user. Because providing quality is our main goal, we want to keep the balance on our servers as good as possible; hence we limit the number of users you may give to your customers.

5.
What is an account, and why is it limited? [Top]
Each domain name you want to host on our site corresponds to an account you need to create under your reseller control panel. This does not mean however that you are limited in the number of domains you can host; you have an unlimited of domain aliases on your account.

6.

How many databases do we have? [Top]
Basically, each account you create comes with its own database. If you need more databases, we will create them for free for as long as it doesn't influence the overall performance of the server you're hosted on.

7.
What's this eNom reseller account you're offering? [Top]
The eNom reseller account enables you to register your domain names at extremely competitive rates. For further information, please click here.

8.
Do you offer a money back guarantee on the reseller plans? [Top]
Yes, we offer you no less than a 10 days money back warranty. However, due to the nature of the services you're ordering, reseller accounts can only be refunded for 75% of its original value.

9.
Do you offer discounts for quarterly/annual payments? [Top]
We believe that if you decide paying a monthly basis, you should not be paying more than customers that prepay for an entire year. Hence, we have brought all our monthly pricing down to the level of when you would be paying annually. This way, we ensure that everyone can get an account with us equally cheap!

10.
Do you offer unlimited bandwidth and disk space? [Top]
We are aware that some of the competition claim to provide you with unlimited bandwidth or disk space. We simply know that this isn't possible! Think about it for a second... If the unlimited offers were all that they seem, Yahoo.com would be hosted on a cheap hosting account rather than a cluster of dedicated servers! We prefer to make an honest deal with our customers, avoiding discussions towards the future; claiming that you are offering unlimited services is simply not being honest.

11.

Can I host adult sites, warez sites or sites containing illegal material? [Top]
Warez sites and illegal material will never be accepted on our servers. If you would like to host an adult content site on our servers, please contact our sales department for further details. Depending on the current load on our servers and network, we can approve adult content on an individual basis. However, our uptime towards our customers is our primary concern. Hence, any project which might influence our general network performance might have to be postponed until we purchase new servers and/or extend our network.

12.
Can I send SPAM? What is your policy on this? [Top]
Spamming, or the sending of unsollicited email from a SpeedPacket.com server or using an email address that is related to our company or hosted on any of our servers is STRICTLY prohibited. We consider the sending of spam one of the highest ranked grounds for the immediate termination of the violator of this rule.

13.
Why don't you offer telephone support? [Top]
We prefer support requests to come through our ticketing system or email for various reasons.
Firstly, it provides a systematic audit trail of all communication between you and our staff, so that all the facts can easily be passed to whomever may be working on your problem. In the absence of a representative who has been assisting you all along, somebody else can take over and be equally knowledgeable of your issues.
Secondly, it allows us to focus on fixing problems instead of answering the phone. The time we spend answering phone calls can be channeled to more productive work such as helping a client debug a program.
Third, we are aiming to providing you the answers to 99% of your questions through our knowledge base system, enabling you to instantly find the solution to your problem, rather than needing to contact us. This will benefit us as well as our customers.
