Countdown phase 1: LIVE - phase 2: -926 days - phase 3: -867 days

In order to ensure a fair and correct treatment of all applications, EURid and the European Commission have put together a procedure for phased registration, also known as "Sunrise". Below you can read more about the different phases, and when they will be available to you:

Phase ONE
Starting on Wednesday 7 December 2005.
In this phase, only public bodies and the holders of registered trademarks can apply for registration.

Phase TWO
Starting on Tuesday 7 February 2006.
In this phase, claims to .EU domain names may also be entered by holders of other prior rights. In this phase, company names and artistic names may claim registration of a corresponding .EU domain name.

Phase THREE
Starting on Friday 7 April 2006.
Registration becomes open to all, and you no longer need to backup your application by a legal right such as a trademark or company name...
